Admission to our school
The school has pupils from 4 to 11 years (Years Reception to 6).
Admission to the school is in accordance with the criteria laid down in the Leeds City Council Admission Policy. This gives priority to children with special educational needs, those with siblings already attending the school and children living within the school’s catchment area.
Reception Admission – Starting School
Children are admitted at the beginning of the school year (September) in which they will have their 5th birthday.
If you are applying for a place in Reception, you must apply through Leeds City Council between 1 November and 15 January prior to your child starting school.

Transferring to New Bewerley Community School
Please go online here 'Moving Schools' on the leeds.gov.uk website to apply for a place at our school.
If we are unable to admit your child, we will add you to our waiting list. We will notify you as soon as a space becomes available.
