Welcome to Year 1
We are 1 Brownlee. The Year 1 staff are:

Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee
Our class is named after the inspirational athletes Jonathan and Alistair Brownlee.
We are inspired by them and their success, which encourages us to follow our school values of; Contribute, Celebrate, Commit, Create and Collaborate.
In Year 1 we learn through interesting and engaging topics.
They learn through a mix of independent and group activities, as well as through provision to ensure a successful transition from the early years to Key Stage One.
The class focuses on fun and engaging learning activities around interesting topics, which allow them to explore the curriculum in a creative way.
